Donation & Refund Policy

At RAGHUVANSHI EDUCATIONAL AND WELFARE TRUST, we are grateful for your generous contributions that help us pursue our mission to support education, healthcare, and social welfare. This policy explains how donations are handled, and under what circumstances refunds (if any) are processed.


1. Donation Methods

All donations made through our website are processed securely via Razorpay, our authorized payment gateway partner.

You may donate using:

  • Credit or Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, etc.)
  • UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, etc.)
  • Net Banking
  • Razorpay Wallets

We do not collect or store your payment credentials (card details, UPI PIN, etc.) on our servers. All sensitive information is handled directly by Razorpay using industry-grade encryption.


2. Donation Receipts

You will receive an automated email receipt from us once the donation is successfully processed.

In case of offline donations or special drives, receipts may be issued manually within 3–7 working days.

If you are eligible for 80G tax benefits, your receipt will include your name, PAN (if provided), donation amount, and our registration details.

3. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Donations made to RAGHUVANSHI EDUCATIONAL AND WELFARE TRUST are non-refundable under normal circumstances, as they are made voluntarily for a charitable cause.

However, under rare circumstances such as:

  • Duplicate transaction (accidental repeat donation)
  • Technical error during payment processing
  • Wrong amount entered due to system or human error

We will review refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

To Request a Refund:

  • Include full name, transaction ID, date, amount, and reason for the refund request

Once reviewed and approved, refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 7–10 working days back to the original source (bank/UPI/card) through Razorpay.

4. Failed or Cancelled Transactions

  • In case your donation payment fails, no amount is debited, and you may try again.
  • If the amount is debited but the page shows failure or you don’t get a receipt, please wait for 24 hours. Sometimes banks take time to confirm payment to Razorpay.
  • If the issue persists, contact us with transaction reference details.

5. Disputes or Chargebacks

We encourage all donors to first contact us for any payment-related concerns before raising a chargeback with the bank. We are happy to clarify or resolve genuine issues directly and transparently.
